Description: Pulse is an exciting, virtuoso trio committed to presenting a mix of traditional, contemporary and cutting edge programming. Their performances explore works utilizing clarinet, violin, viola, piano, recorder, baroque violin, and harpsichord. Concerts include masterworks of the clarinet trio, such as the Khatchaturian, Bartok and Mozart trios, as well as contemporary works by some of today’s most significant composers, and works written especially for Pulse. Pulse has collectively performed in over twenty countries across four continents. Major performance venues include; Carnegie Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, Boston Symphony Hall, Sanders Theater at Harvard University, Le Poisson Rouge, and the Kennedy Center.
